Ali Krieger will return to Dumfries, VA on November 12 to hold the first AKFC Defense speciality camp at the Ali Krieger Sports Complex in Potomac Shores. Spend your Veterans Day Holiday on the field with one of the world’s best defensive players. Ali was part of a 2015 Women’s World Cup backline that allowed only three goals all tournament and recorded five straight shutouts, propelling the United States to victory.
Whether you are a fullback or forward, learn how to shut down your opponent and turn defense into offense. Having played defensive and attacking positions, Ali has an advanced understanding what it takes to make an impact defensively in all areas of the field. Each session will be tailored to participants’ skill levels so that all are challenged to develop new defensive skills to give them a edge in league and school competition.
Group 1 (Ages 7-11 Co-ed): November 12 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Group 2 (Ages 12-18 Girls): November 12 2:00pm - 5:00pm
(Use dropdown above to select group for registration.)
All participants will also learn “The Warrior Way” – the mentality and core values that have helped Ali achieve success on and off the field. AKFC welcomes players from rec to academy skill levels. We strongly believe all kids should enjoy sports and be excited participate, whether in training or on game day, and it is our goal to make sure every AKFC event achieves that balance between work and play.
What to Expect At Your Session
